하지만 막상 나온 게임은 충격적이었죠.
닐 드럭만은 자신을 성공으로 이끌었던 주인공, 그리고
전작에서 게이머 들이 직접 자신이 되어 체험하면서
아포칼립스 세계관에서 유저들의 딸이나 마찬가지였던
엘리를 지키기 위해 했던 모든 순간들을 물거품으로
만들었습니다.
그리고 자신이 마치 성인이라도 된 깨달음을 얻은 듯 한
모습으로 유저 들을 가르치려 드는 모습으로 인해
많은 사람들의 비판을 받았죠.
그리고 비판을 받자 닐 드럭만의 반응은 매우 역겨웠습니다.
자신의 게임을 비판하는 사람들에게 PC주의를 받아들이지
않는 차별자 들이라 표현하는 모습을 보였습니다.
이 게임은 사실 닐 드럭만을 한순간에 추락 시키는
결과물이 되고 말았죠.

이 작품은 2024년 1월 19일 출시 된다고 합니다…
12월 5일부터 예약 주문이 가능하다고 합니다.
그리고 기존 게임을 가지고 있는 사람들은 약 1만 3000 원
정도에 업그레이드가 가능하다고 합니다.
변경 된 점은 사실 별거 없습니다.
확연히 달라질 그래픽
4K 해상도를 지원하며 텍스처 향상, 디테일 향상,
그리고 그림자 품질이나 여러가지 그래픽 요소가
업그레이 되며,
로딩 시간이나 버벅임을 현저히 줄였다고 합니다.
그리고 기타 연주와 같은 자유로운 모션이 있다고 하는데,
사실 이게 뭔 개소린가 싶군요.
생존 모드
노 리턴 (No Return) 이라는 모드가 추가된다고 하는데,
생존 모드라고 하는군요.
캐릭터들을 기간이 있는 임무에 투입 시킨 뒤
미션을 수행하는 모드인데 온라인 기능이라고 합니다.
어떤 유저와 만날지 모른다고 하는군요.
사실상 스토리는 개판이지만 액션 만큼은 높이 평가 할
게임이기 때문에 이 부분이 가장 기대가 클 것 같습니다.
스피드런 모드
스피드런 모드가 추가된다고 하는데 말 그대로 그냥
빨리 클리어 하는 것입니다.
리더보드가 있다고 하는데 상위 플레이어 에게는
보상이 들어간다고 합니다.

더 라스트 오브 어스 2 리마스터 에서는 추가 미션을
플레이 할 수 있다고 합니다…
사실 게임 상 포함하지 않고 편집 해 낸 시나리오 인데
이번 부분에 추가를 결정했다고 하는군요…
이 외에도 캐릭터의 의상 스킨, 무기 등등이 추가가 된다고
합니다.
사실 리마스터 치고는 생각보다 공을 들인 편이라는
생각도 들기는 하는군요.
